So, is theatre dying? Listen to roundtable discussion

March 18, 2010

Last month, several theatre leaders gathered at KPCC to discuss the state of theatre in southern California. Participants included Terence McFarland of LAStageAlliance, Frank Minano of Inland Valley Repertory Theatre, Michael Michetti of Boston Court, Paul Millet of Nom De Guerre and formerly the Pasadena Playhouse, Ben Hill of Hollywood Fringe, Gedaly Guberek of Coeurage Theatre, Matt Wells of needtheatre, and critic Evan Henerson.

Highlights aired on KPCC’s weekend show, Offramp. Now, you can hear the 50-minute conversation here.

Once you listen to it, I hope you will feel compelled to leave a comment here. It’s an issue that isn’t going away. (And, yes, we address the issue that everyone in the photo is male.)
