THROUGH SEP 23: Chalk Repertory Theatre announces a unique partnership with The Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits to present the second edition of its hit FLASH Festival of short plays. All plays must fit within the scientific parameters provided by Page Museum curators exploring such themes as evolution, archeology, and science education among others. Five plays will be presented per weekend. www.chalkrep.com.

THROUGH October 28. Coeurage Theatre Co presents the West Coast premiere of Sean Graney’s hit play. Originally produced by The Hypocrites theatre company, The 4th Graders Present an Unnamed Love-Suicide received a transfer to New York after a wildly successful run in Chicago. A truly dark comedy, the play is literally the suicide note of a ten year old, which his classmates are forced to act out. APR 2013: In 2013, to celebrate the City of San Gabriel’s Centennial, the Mission Playhouse will present a fully‐staged version of The Mission Play.
