Hear Me Read logo concept

November 16, 2010

We’re slowly making progress on our nonprofit, Hear Me Read. Our goal is to pair full cast recordings of classic childrens’ literature with the actual books to help kids read better. Our first book, The Ugly Duckling, is produced.

My business partner, Jennifer Chu (currently in Sideways Stories from Wayside Schools at South Coast Rep and rehearsing A Christmas Carol there) passed along these logos to me this morning, the creative result of a graphic artist named Amy.

There’s not much difference between these two – a little more white space in the bottom one with smaller faces – but we’d like your opinion. Does it get the message across? Likes? Concerns?

Please email your thoughts to stevejulian@live.com. – Thanks!
