Hollywood Boulevard performance and feature film from Mikhail Tank

June 9, 2010

US based, Russian born multimedia performance artist Mikhail Tank will premiere his new one-man show at the very first Hollywood Fringe Festival on June 23 at 8pm. The show, For the Special Ones, is at The Stella Adler Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.

The show is a historical perspective ‘for all those who have sat in the corners of life’ and features the atmospheric music of multi award winning composer Daniel Levin. Excerpts and the new companion performance art video can be seen here.

Mikhail is also releasing two songs from ‘For The Special Ones’ as stand alone singles, an RPG remix of his songs Burst the Bubble of Hate and The Black Sheep. The companion album will be available worldwide, via iTunes.

2010 has already been a busy year for Mikhail. He recently lent his uniquely dark vision to the starring role in the video comic Koroliyov that premiered at San Francisco’s Wondercon convention in March, to critical and audience acclaim. Read more here.
