A permament Mother’s Day seat at A Noise Within

May 5, 2010

Glendale’s A Noise Within classical repertory company recently announced it had achieved its $10 million goal to break ground for its new theatre space in Pasadena. It’s still raising more funds, but now comes word of naming opportunities – not for the theatre itself – but for individual seats.

From the press release:
A Noise Within (ANW), the critically acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, offers the opportunity to immortalize your mother (or sister, daughter or friend) on Mother’s Day with a gift that lasts a lifetime – and includes flowers!  Name A Seat in the company’s new Pasadena, California theatre in honor of a special person, and A Noise Within includes a beautiful bouquet of flowers sent to the recipient with special notification of the giver’s thoughtful Mother’s Day gift.  (Order by Friday, May 7 at noon.)  Celebrate the woman who introduced you to theatre, inspired your creativity, or set you on a path of discovery, and return her devotion and generosity with the perfect commemorative gift.

Prices range from $1,500 for a Section C 1, 2 or 3 seat, $2,500 for a Section B seat, and $4,000 for a Section A seat.  Check it out as soon as possible.  The new theatre’s Section A has LIMITED SEATS AVAILABLE and Section C2 seats have SOLD OUT.

A Noise Within moves in 2011 from its long-time leased base in Glendale, California to its spectacular, new theatre in Pasadena, a facility designed to expand ANW’s artistic possibilities, offer a greater scope of educational opportunities, meet ticket demand and allow the company to expand its role as a leader in the presentation and preservation of classical theatre.  A Noise Within, hailed by critics as “adventurous,” “compelling and current,” “ingenuity at work,” and “what great theatre is all about,” was founded in 1992 and quickly established itself as one of the nation’s leading theatre companies.  It continues to maintain its celebrated status as the only year-round classical repertory company in Southern California, attracting fiercely loyal audiences and high praise from the media for its productions of great works of world drama and also as a leading regional force in arts education.
